WHAT IS SPIRITUALISM ALL ABOUT?

SPIRITUALISM

The word spiritualism is used so often in casual conversations that it has lost its essence or perspective. For some, it can mean praying and believing in something not visible to the eyes, trying to understand who God is and create their own understanding of God, while for others, it can mean clearing up thoughts and having the power to work towards their goals.

The word spiritual often refers to understanding the world beyond the physical universe

In general, the word spiritual often refers to understanding the world beyond the physical universe, beyond what we can taste, see, hear, touch or smell.

In other words, it may mean understanding something beyond what one can comprehend. With all those different understandings, people proclaim that they are spiritual. But the meaning of the same word is different from one to another. Words can be misleading when they are used to convey a thought or emotion, or sensation. What we mean by the word spirituality is pretty complicated as it encompasses an understanding of the non-physical world, so it falls in the area of imagination and speculation.

Understanding the Word’ Spirituality

Let me start by explaining what the word “spirituality” means. I started looking at spirituality early in life because I wanted to find the meaning of ‘Who We Are?’, ‘Who is God?’ and ‘What is the unseen world we can feel yet not see’. As we all know, “seeing is believing”.

What is a spirit?

Through my exploration of the metaphysical world, I understood that spirituality is learning about your spirit. But what is a spirit?

Whether it’s an emotion or feeling, your spirit is who you are.
We are indeed all spirits, but we are afraid to discuss them because we believe everything unseen is unreal and ghostly. When you close your eyes and pray to something invisible, what are you praying to? It means that you are talking to something invisible. You pray to God but cannot see him. His imagined presence only fills you up. Since God cannot be seen, he can only be felt in various forms and shapes. Similarly, we are visible in a variety of shapes and forms. All of us, including God, is formless.

Taking on the form and shape to be seen and living in the physical world for a short time, then going back to the unseen world, we live in the physical world briefly. We are all part of this unseen world. Our first identity is as spiritual beings, and our second identity is as human beings. In the spiritual world, we are all connected. Every one of us understands the other without even speaking a word. Despite not being physically present to each other, we feel the presence of one another.
The point I intend to make is that we are emotions, feelings, and sensations. We are spirits, and studying us is spiritualism.

The spiritual path requires self-study.

Spirituality is about discovering more about yourself rather than learning from others, relying on yourself instead of others.
The act of observing your behavior, reactions, and emotional reactions. What does it mean to learn about yourself? How do you behave, deal with anger, and regulate stress, how confident are you, how do you calm your fears, and what are your personal goals, not worldly or social goals? The main purpose of learning is for you to find out what your life’s purpose is.

Who better than you to study your own life?

The fact that others ask me to evaluate them or make a judgment about them makes me smile. What makes me know you more than you know yourself? Your knowledge of yourself is greater than mine. The type of programming you have makes it impossible for me to know who you are. In what manner do you operate? You are the best judge of yourself. Be sure to trust your judgment about yourself before judging others.
What are the ways you operate spiritually? The effort has no place in the spiritual world. In the physical world, the effort is an integral part. The effort to breathe is the very basis of physical existence. In contrast to this, the spiritual world is effortless in its purest form.
Pure energy or spirit is what you are by nature. A spirit is a pure energy, any impurity changes its course. Spirits have an impressionable quality and are affected by their influences.

A spirit can also be considered to be the truth

A spirit can also be considered to be truth or truth to be the way it is”. Exactly what is lying? By lying, we mean changing something from its original form or not presenting it as it is.
If you lie, the spirit cannot cope with it, and you start separating from yourself. Some religions require you to confess your sins and lies because only then can you see the “way it is” from the “way it was not.” By confessing your sins and lying, you gain a closer connection to yourself. Any change of alignment, whether slight or major, results in a change in the nature of the spirit, and the spirit become misaligned or impure when it happens.

Lying is very casual and unnoticeable.

Even if we change a few details, it changes our emotional level and behavior, and we do not remain ourselves and become something else. We might feel that lying is very casual and unnoticeable. But even by accepting lies, we change the true nature of a spirit and change ourselves. By doing so, we burden ourselves with so much baggage, which makes us restless, confused, and uneasy. Hence, making us uncomfortable with ourselves is what changing our spiritual nature means.
The basic nature of the spirit is to remain the same, unadulterated, pure, and the way it is.
If you permit yourself to lie, thinking it is some form of creative imagination or creation, you will soon become a “lie factory.” You will find yourself lying without any reason. Just for the heck of it, and that is the journey downhill. You become more and more solid and physical and less and less ethereal and metaphysical.
